Stark Street Bridge Retaining Wall RepairWe are planning emergency repairs to the north approach to the Stark Street Bridge. The bridge closed September 17 when a retaining wall on the northwest approach collapsed.

What We Do

We maintain 27 bridges, including six on the Willamette River, and over 250 miles of roads. We are also home to the County Surveyor’s office and a transit program for areas lacking fixed routes.

The Multnomah County Bridge Section manages and maintains six Willamette River Bridges and over 20 smaller bridges elsewhere in the County.
