Project Description:
This project replaced an undersized culvert and fish ladder on the north side at the SE Stark Street crossing of Beaver Creek. It was replaced with a channel-spanning open bottom culvert that restored the natural streambed and allows for fish passage. The new culvert is 150 feet long, designed for a future project that will widen SE Stark Street to four lanes, with sidewalks and bike lanes in 2021. The cost of the contract for the culvert replacement is approximately $2.1 million.
