- Location: Beaver Creek and Stark Street crossing, just east of Troutdale Road. See map for project area.
- Schedule: Construction is scheduled for spring/summer 2017.
This project will replace the undersized culvert and fish ladder on the north side at the SE Stark Street crossing of Beaver Creek. It will be replaced with a channel-spanning open bottom culvert that restores the natural streambed and allows for fish passage. The new culvert will be 150-feet long, designed for a future project that will widen SE Stark Street.
A 500-foot long section of Stark Street will be closed for four to six months during construction. The closure could begin as soon as late May 2017. There will be a detour around the workzone utilizing Cochran Rd. All driveways to Mt. Hood Community College will remain open during construction.
There will be a Multnomah County information booth at the Gresham Saturday Market, Saturday, May 20th. If you have any comments or questions feel free to stop by.
An outreach event was held in August 2016 and a public meeting was held on December 9, 2015 at Mount Hood Community College to share information on the project design, construction schedule and traffic plan.
