A biennial structural inspection of the Stark Street Bridge over the Sandy River is scheduled Tuesday to Thursday, October 24-26 from 7:30 am to 5 pm. The inspection will impact traffic.
A small bridge on SE Jenne Road and SE 174th Ave. that crosses Johnson Creek will have one lane closed on Thursday, October 19 from 10 a.m. until as late as 2 p.m. while crews install scaffolding.
The contractor made good progress this week, as backfill was completed to bring Stark Street up to grade above the new culvert. Weather permitting, the road will be repaved in the next week.
The reopening date for a section of SE Stark Street near Mt. Hood Community College has been postponed until October 19-25, primarily due to saturated soil.

Multnomah County Transportation will close the upper section of Larch Mountain Road in the Columbia Gorge on Monday, September 25 at noon for the winter season.
The concrete head wall on the downstream side of the Beaver Creek culvert under Stark Street is taking shape. Work is in progress to backfill earth over the culvert.
The contractor has completed installation of the steel arch culvert and started adding backfill on both sides.
