The contractor installing a new 150-foot long steel culvert under SE Stark Street near Mt. Hood Community College expects to have Stark Street reopened to traffic by Monday, October 16.
The contractor re-directed Beaver Creek through the new culvert under Stark Street and added backfill around the culvert to bring Stark Street back to grade.
Paving maintenance work is scheduled on NW Cornelius Pass Road between Highway 30 and NW Skyline Blvd. September 25 – 27 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Multnomah County Transportation will close the upper section of Larch Mountain Road in the Columbia Gorge on Monday, September 25 at noon for the winter season.
The concrete head wall on the downstream side of the Beaver Creek culvert under Stark Street is taking shape. Work is in progress to backfill earth over the culvert.
The contractor has completed installation of the steel arch culvert and started adding backfill on both sides.

Multnomah County has scheduled a public meeting on Wednesday, August 30 at 6 p.m. at the Skyline Grange, to provide an update on the repair of Germantown Road (possibly this fall) and other projects.
Construction of improvements to a section of NE Sandy Boulevard between NE 230th Ave. and NE 238th Ave. in Fairview and Wood Village begin this week.
