The eastbound lane of the Hawthorne Bridge east side ramp reopened to traffic, after engineers determined it was safe. The underside of the ramp was struck by a truck driving on a road below it.
A section of the right lane of the eastbound Hawthorne Bridge viaduct is closed after a truck towing an excavator on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. this morning struck the underside of the viaduct.
Lane closures are scheduled at off-peak travel hours on the Hawthorne Bridge in the next week for two projects.
Concrete repairs to the underside of the Burnside Bridge near the Skidmore Fountain MAX station are scheduled May 1- 20. The work is scheduled when the MAX station is closed for TriMet repairs.
The Morrison Bridge will be closed for 20 minutes at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 26 and from 8 pm Thursday, April 27 until as late as 5 am on Friday, April 28 for lift span repair work.
