A Broadway Bridge sidewalk will be closed at times on weekdays during painting work. Watch for signs directing sidewalk users where to cross to the open sidewalk.

The Broadway Bridge reopens to motor vehicles Saturday, Aug. 15 by 7 p.m. after a construction-related closure this week. Streetcar service across the bridge to the central eastside resumes Aug. 17.
The Broadway Bridge will be closed to motor vehicles from just after midnight on Monday, Aug. 10 to no later than 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16 for repairs. Bridge sidewalks will remain open.
The Providence Bridge Pedal on Sunday morning, August 9 involves 11 bridges and the streets connecting them. The Morrison and St. Johns bridges are open to traffic in both directions.
Construction at the intersection of SE Tacoma Street and SE 6th Avenue from August 3 – 7 will lead to temporary traffic changes for drivers that week.
SE 6th Avenue will be closed on the south side of SE Tacoma Street from 5 am on Monday, July 27 until late afternoon on Friday, July 31 during reconstruction of the south side of the intersection.
The Broadway Bridge will be closed to motor vehicles from 6 am on Saturday, July 25 until no later than 8 pm on Sunday, July 26 to allow for installation of scaffolding over traffic lanes.
The outside northbound lane of Highway 43 from Macadam Bay to south of Taylors Ferry Road will be closed from 9 a.m. on Friday, July 17 until as late as 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21 for construction.
The Broadway and Morrison bridges will be closed to motor vehicles at times this weekend for field work. Both bridges will remain open to pedestrians and bicyclists during the work.
Field work will begin on Friday, June 26 for a project that will complete the repainting of Multnomah County’s historic Broadway Bridge. The bridge will be closed to all motor vehicles that weekend.
The Morrison Bridge will be closed to motor vehicle traffic on Sunday, June 14 from 7 a.m. until as late as 7 p.m. during an inspection and maintenance work on the lift span deck.
The Burnside Bridge will close to motor vehicle and river traffic on Saturday, June 6 from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. for the Portland Rose Festival’s Grand Floral Parade.
